Maintenance Assistant: Camp Homewood (Quadra Island, BC - near Campbell River, population 35,000) is looking for a full-time Maintenance AssistantThis person is responsible for helping to maintain and operate the physical property which includes: grounds, buildings, utilities, camp equipment and vehicles to ensure the long term viability of the ministry.  This position calls for hands on involvement in maintenance, inspection of items and work, facilitating contractors, trades, and volunteers (year round, seasonal, or single visit), and working as part of a team to build the Kingdom of God.  Responsibilities are to be carried out in a way that will honour Jesus Christ and comply with the Pacific Coast Children’s Mission’s Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.  Homewood hosts a total of 1,250 campers during the summer season at our Harbour, Ranch, Sailing & Woodsman sites as well as 80-90 Guest Groups during the 'off-season'.  For more information contact Paul Bailey at 250-850-7193 or email director@camphomewood.com

Assistant Cook Opportunity - Hope, BC, Canada

Squeah Camp & Retreat Centre has an opening for an Assistant Cook for the Summer Camp and Fall OE seasons (end of June through to end of November. Working alongside the Head Chef and Food Services Manager, the Assistant Cook will cook, lead a shift team, and ensure all food service-related details and requirements are met. This is a full-time, seasonal position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
