(Camp Operators Virtual Info Day Because We Can't Conference Normally)
The BC Camping Conference presents COVID
Can’t-ference, our Camp Operators Virtual Information Day!
2020 has been a challenging year with significant disruption to the camping industry. We all know coming together in person is not the thing to do right now, but that we also need the support of our industry colleagues now more than ever before. The BCCC wanted to help out, so this year we are offering 2 days of FREE conference programming for BCCA and FCC member camps. This event is catered to bring our community together and provide a platform for collaboration. Tuesday will be hosted by the BCCA and features an incredible keynote speaker, workshop breakout rooms to discuss hot button topics of COVID-19, the annual BCCA AGM and BCCA awards. Wednesday will be hosted by the FCC and offer a day for faith-based organizations to come together in worship, prayer and support. Similarly, Wednesday will include breakout sessions organized by region, and the FCC AGM. This day is sure to be filled with uplifting discussions and professional development.
The BC Camping Conference is a linked event, co- organized by the BC Camps Association (BCCA) and the Fellowship of Christian Camps (FCC). This annual gathering is for people passionate about camps in British Columbia. Every late January/ early February, we typically have 180 people from 40 member camps gather in person to share knowledge, swap stories, play together, and celebrate camping in British Columbia. This year we are taking that online! From staff to board members, owners to operators, everyone is welcome to attend!
Join us for one day or two, free of charge (for members), and reconnect with your colleagues before we venture into the 2021 camping season.
